Start gluing the sticks together to form your puppet! I started with the dress. Apply glue to the front side of one end on one of your full red sticks. At a 45 degree angle, press the back side of the other full red stick into the glue to make an upside down V-shape. Hold the ends together until the glue has dried enough for them to stay in place.
Time needed: 10 minutes. Make the basic paper hand puppet shape. Begin by folding your A4 sheet in paper in 3 length wise. Secure with some glue. Make the M shape of your paper puppet. With the seam of your fold on the outside, fold your paper in half. Then fold over flap. Flip and fold over the other. You will end up with a type of “M”.
Cut the thick baseboard trim. These piece will mark the tops of columns, so they should have the same width as your boards (3″). Make an angle template to mark the angles and cut four pieces. Assemble the frame again to check if all the parts fit. 4. For supporting the frame, you will use a 1″ thick board.
Using a hot glue gun, glue your cardboard mouth piece to a piece of felt. We used red felt for the inside of the dragon’s mouth. Cut around the cardboard mouth piece leaving about a ¼” border. Snip little lines into the felt along the edge to avoid buckling and glue the border onto the underside of the cardboard mouth.

Step 1: Stuff the Head. Trace the outline of the sock on a piece of fabric and cut it out. Sew the fabric along the edges of the sock, leaving an opening at the back for stuffing.
