Locomotivebart said: It's perfectly normal for the AC to come on when you press auto. Not only does the AC cool the car, it also removes moisture from the air. For the no heat, I would look into whether your water valve is working or not. It failed on my old 330 but the symptoms were opposite, all I got was heat. 34 posts · Joined 2010. #1 · Aug 1, 2011. I have the following codes: P0135: 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) P0136: 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 2) P0155: 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1) P0166: 02 Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 2) P1186: O2 Sensor Heater Control Circuit The Coolant Temperature is between 99/210 deg C/F and 102/215 depending on mph, but the heater is blowing cold. When idling the heat output starts to get warm after about 1 minute and after 3 it has full heat, the temperature still shows 99 deg C. Drive off goes cold, stop in traffic and heat returns. There is an install kit available for LHD vehicles, BMW p/n 64502359944. However, I don’t know if that comes with the actual webasto heater though, or if I would need to get that separately. Unfortunately there is no BMW part listed to retrofit independent heating to a RHD car. Too complicated. BMW needs to simplify the basics. ***Original post below Last night wife went into house and had keys in her purse while I waited in car with engine running. Today, key fob won't lock/unlock doors, touch pad not working on handle, start/stop button does not work. Car only starts when key fob is in slot. Im not talking about electriacl heated windscreens (with little wires inside the glass) as used in the Ford group but about the heating of the air used for demisting. Some cars have a electrical heater to warm the air immediately whilst the engine is heating up. Wife's Freelander doesnt have a heated windscreen but has a electrical booster i36xNKc. If you have climate control there is a fan that sucks the air into the vent sensors at the top by the sunroof controls, at the stereo, and down below. That's how it controls the air mixture and fan speed when it's at auto and stuff. Fan goes out, it has no idea what to blow. 2007 e92 328i [0.00] Yes I have restarted the car many times now. I can shift up or down M1-M2-M3-M2 etc. although it never seems to engage Sport/mode (no change in revs or shift points) and if I hold the gear for more than 15 seconds it reverts back to the"D" setting. FYI this test might not give you the results you're looking for even if your car was working correctly. 60 and 85 are not just the lowest and highest that it'll go; they are also thermostat overrides. For example, if the car is freezing inside and you set it to 61, it'll heat to 61. But if you set it to 60, it will not heat, period. Yeah it is not listed underneath the cover. But I wonder if this is because the heater circuit is built within the O2 sensor of the OBD 2 cars, namely because of the 4 pins. One of them has to power the O2 sensor. I have also had my core flushed water pump and thermostat replaced various leaking hoses replaced I do not have a control valve but suspecting a blend door actuator lever. This could well be the case for you too. RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts Catalog
