7 posts · Joined 2007. #1 · Feb 24, 2009. Just had rear air suspension (air bags) replaced on my Discovery II. Within a couple of hours after turning the car off both air bags drop all the way down. The mechanic has checked for leaks and can not find any. The battery has been disconnected and the air bags still drop down. DRIVING ON HILLS. When it came down it was on the bump stops It took a couple of cycles to off road to clear it. Afterwards I found suspension would settle overnight. Thought I had air bag problem. After few weeks problem cleared and now no noticeable settling over night. Yes, you can adjust this using the Nanocom. There are a couple of ways to do it. 1/ Use calibration blocks. Ok,if you have std suspension, but need to make bigger if you have lift blocks. 2/ Use a jack under the towbar and set the rave spec height between bumpstops + any lift and save the settings in the BCU.
